DATA COLLECTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE REGISTRATION TO ATTEND THE CONFERENCE
The 2019 Hague Judgments Convention – A Game Changer?

Pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) No 2016/679 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “GDPR”) the personal data provided by those who register to attend the conference titled “The 2019 Hague Judgments Convention – A Game Changer?”, scheduled to take place on 23 April 2020 in Milan (the “Conference”), will be processed by Pietro Franzina in his capacity as data controller (Article 4, point 7, of the GDPR) (the “Controller”).
The Controller’s domicile for the purposes of this Notice is Università Cattolica del S. Cuore – Istituto di Studi Internazionali – Largo Gemelli, 1 – 20123 Milano – Italy.
The data collected are the name and the e-mail address. Such data will be processed for the sole purposes of enabling those registered to attend the Conference. This may include sending materials and/or reminders relating to the Conference.
The data may be processed by persons expressly authorized for this purpose. To ensure that the processing of your personal data is as accurate as possible, some data processors (Article 28 of the GDPR) to whom collected personal data may be disclosed
These subjects have been selected among professionals that guarantee the implementation of appropriate technical and organizational measures, so that the processing will always be carried out in compliance with the applicable legislation so as to guarantee the protection of their rights.
The Controller will not disclose any of your personal data with third parties unless such disclosure is required by the relevant applicable law.
The processing operations are performed in any case by instruments and procedures that ensure security and confidentiality in accordance with the law. They may be carried out either in paper or by digital format.
The Controller will retain the personal data so collected for a period no longer than that necessary for performing the purposes for which the data have been collected.
Subject to certain conditions, the GDPR grants data subjects the following rights relating to personal data: access, rectification, erasure, processing restriction, data portability, objection, right not to be subjected to automated decision-making processes, to resort to a jurisdictional authority or to an administrative control authority (for Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
